Courtyard Classroom
The outdoor class is surrounded by white standing garden beds, planters, and two greenhouses. The garden beds allow students to enjoy and nurture a variety of plants, flowers and herbs.

DeGrazia offers a wide variety of academic learning for our students, and all students receive additional support through Title I funding.

Saturday, January 24th, we have an exciting opportunity for our community! "Market on the Move" has chosen DeGrazia as a distribution site for their low cost fresh food boxes. Please check this out if you'd be interested in participating on Saturday!!
"Market on the Move" (MOM) refers to a program run by a non-profit organization, where they rescue excess produce from distributors and growers, then distribute it to the community at a low cost, typically for a small donation, with the goal of fighting food insecurity and reducing food waste; essentially, it's a mobile food distribution program where people can purchase large quantities of fresh produce at a significantly discounted price.
The distribution starts around 8:00 am Saturday, January 24th. You'll want to be in line early because the food boxes are a first come-first served opportunity. Boxes are $10 each and you can purchase as many as you'd like. YOU MUST HAVE CASH!
Please enter our back driveway loop near the marquee and plan to stay in your car the entire time until you receive your food box at the end of the loop where our staff will be there to put it into your trunk. All you need to do is drive up and pop open your trunk.

Marana Unified School District is excited to host Sing for Marana, a beloved annual tradition that brings together 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students for a fun-filled day of music!
DeGrazia Elementary Donation Drive!
Hello DeGrazia families and community members! With the support of our amazing PTO, DeGrazia Elementary is partnering with Savers Thrift FunDrive to collect gently used items to help raise money for student snacks and prizes.
We are accepting clothes, books, and small household goods that are clean and in good condition. Please place clothing in trash bags, small household goods in boxes, and books in their own boxes.
Donations may be dropped off at the front office between January 13, 2026 and February 11, 2026.
Thank you for your generosity and for supporting our students and school community!

Sing for Marana is a District Wide Event that is open to all students in the district in grades 4-6 who love to sing. You do not have to be in choir to attend this event. It is a one day event with songs (featuring an amazing clinician from the Tucson Girls Chorus), games, and food! At the end of the event, there is a free concert for all to attend. We would love to have your child attend on Saturday, February 7th. Doors open at 8:30, with the event running from 9-2:30. The concert will be at 2. The cost is $10 (towards food, games, site costs, etc.). We hope to see you there!

Music at DeGrazia Elementary School features many musical instruments, including Boomwhackers, bucket drums, chime bars, guitars, Orff xylophones, pianos, ukuleles, and other percussion, such as egg shakers and frame drums.
