The Marana Unified School District takes pride in the delivery of a delicious and nutritious school breakfast and lunch program, aligned with federal standards. The Food Services Department staff of approximately 100 employees serve on average, over 9,000 meals each day and over 1.6 million meals a year! 

Nutrition and health are critical to a child's ability to learn and be successful. Hungry children experience stomach pain, miss school, are easily distracted and have an inability to focus on learning. 

The District recognizes that unexpected hardships may affect a family’s ability to pay for school meals.

The Marana district’s commitment to ensure that no student goes hungry has resulted in tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid school meals. This expense unduly burdens the program and affects all students in the District.

Simply make your tax-deductible donation today through our secure Online Donation Center.  100 percent of your generous gift will be directly distributed to negative meal accounts. 

• A small contribution of $50 covers the cost of lunch for approximately one month for an elementary student.
• A contribution of $60 covers the cost of lunch for approximately one month for a middle or high school student.
