MUSD’s Marana Cares Mobile food bus will be on the streets again during the upcoming 2025 Winter Break serving FREE, nutritious and delicious meals to ALL children.

Families and students gathered for the district’s High School Career & Technical Education (CTE) Night, where a wide range of programs were featured including engineering, digital media, culinary arts, law and public safety, welding, automotive technology, sports medicine, photography, bio science, FFA, and more.

A new program in Marana USD elementary and K-8 schools strengthens early literacy efforts by partnering with families and empowering them to read together. All kindergarten students will receive five free books, plus parents get monthly tips and resources.

Eighth grade students from Tortolita Middle School completed a Girl Scouts community service project for DeGrazia Elementary preschool and kindergarteners, designing, assembling, and donating eight step stools for an extra lift at the water fountain and bathroom sinks.

Program Inspire is expanding its space into a third building on the district campus on Lon Adams Road! Program Inspire provides a supportive, nurturing, and academically rewarding environment for students with significant emotional and behavioral needs.

A National Day of Service was hosted in honor of the 9/11 anniversary, transforming it into a day of doing good. Nearly 630 students, staff, community partners and volunteers completed projects at five schools!

400 new 5th grade band and orchestra musicians performed at the Blast-Off Workshop with high school musicians from Marana and Mountain View High Schools.

Students in grades 6-8 will soon take part in a school safety lesson designed to help them understand district protocols, build confidence, and be prepared in case of an emergency. All students in MUSD will be completing age-appropriate school safety lessons this year.
