DeGrazia Elementary Custodial Staff Member GEM of the Year!

Maria Canez, custodial staff member at DeGrazia Elementary School, has been awarded the SCC GEM of the Year award for the Arizona and California region. Maria goes above and beyond every day, stepping up to help other schools when they’re short-staffed and always being there during summer to keep DeGrazia’s school campus in tip-top shape.

 

“We are so grateful to have someone who shows up on time, rain or shine, and diligently ensures that our school stays clean and welcoming for our students and staff,” said Tawnya Caldwell, principal of DeGrazia.
