MUSD Hosts Band and Orchestra Blast-Off Workshop!

MUSD hosted its annual Band and Orchestra Blast-Off Workshop for all new 5th grade band and orchestra students on August 23. Our amazing district music teachers taught almost 400 new musicians their first lesson on their instruments at two events hosted at Marana and Mountain View High Schools! The new musicians performed their first stage concert under the spotlights for families and guests alongside musicians from both high schools.  It was wonderful to see the confidence grow as the day progressed.
