Marana Unified School District was proudly recognized at the Marzano High Reliability Schools (HRS) Summit for achieving Level 2 High Reliability Schools certification District-wide. This accomplishment reflects MUSD’s strong, systemwide commitment to effective teaching in every classroom, a critical driver of student success.

The District received this recognition from Mr. Marzano after meeting the criteria of earning Level 2 High Reliability Schools framework for all MUSD schools, demonstrating clear alignment between district leadership and school practices focused on high-quality instruction.

Representing MUSD at the summit and accepting the recognition on behalf of the district were Denise Linsalata, Assistant Superintendent; Benjamin Rorem, Principal of Marana Middle School; Jessica Franklin, Principal of Tortolita Middle School; and Kimberly Parker, Curriculum Coordinator.
